Our puncture proof system is an extruded natural rubber compound that replaces the air-filled inner tube in a tyre. As it is a cellular compound and utilises a conventional pneumatic tyre, the infill compound is capable of offering virtually the same ride characteristics as a fully inflated pneumatic tyre. The need to constantly check tyre pressures is eliminated, and as the tyre is always at the correct ‘pressure’ optimum tyre wear is guaranteed. The patented manufacturing system also enables a high degree of control as to how soft or hard a tyre should be, by the amount of rubber compound that is put into the tyre.
